Our TY Active School Flag team made a presentation to principal, Ms Carroll yesterday. A productive meeting was had after it about Active School Week.

Last week, our students marked St Brigid’s Day with lots of creativity and fun, making their own St Brigid’s Crosses with Mr Scales. It was wonderful to see enthusiasm and care put into this special tradition.
We would also like to congratulate Sophia Wang, who was the winner of our Catholic Schools Week poster competition. Well done, Sophia!
Our Active School Flag team, in association with Dublin County Council Sports Partnership, organised a dance teacher, Shauna, to come in and teach some of our classes for the next few weeks. A great time is being had by all.

Thank you to all the universities, colleges, industry volunteers, and parent volunteers who attended and supported the Maryfield College Careers Expo. It was a great success, providing our students with valuable insights and firsthand guidance on their future options.
We had a fantastic selection of educational institutions present, including DCU, Trinity College, UCD, TUD, the University of Ulster, NCAD, the National College of Ireland, Cathal Brugha FET College, and Coláiste Dhúlaigh.
Industry representatives from various sectors also joined us, including Finance, Law, Engineering, Politics, Aviation, Architecture, Hospitality & Tourism, Human Resources, Business Management, Technology, Science, Pharma, Healthcare, and Medicine.
A special thanks goes to our elected officials, TD Marie Sherlock and TD Barry Heneghan, for taking time out of their busy schedules to speak with our students.
