Our Transition Year students had an exciting and hands-on experience at the ‘Rootine Hair’ hairdressing workshop, led by the wonderful Ann O’Reilly. The workshop gave our students the chance to learn all about the latest hair styles, treatments, and techniques in a fun and practical way. It was a morning filled with creativity, learning, and plenty of hair magic! Our TYs truly embraced their inner hairdressers and got to experience the world of hairdressing like never before. A big thank you to Ann O’Reilly for making this workshop such a fantastic learning opportunity!
A two day badminton tournament was organised by the TY Active School Flag team today. A lot of fun was had by all.
Well done to all the athletes who competed in the Leinster Open Championships, especially Heidi McDonnell who won the 80m final.

On Saturday 29th March our Lourdes volunteers attended a training and orientation day in preparation for the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Students attended workshops, learned about the story of Lourdes, practised assisting “pilgrims” and participated in a beautiful prayer service at the end of the day.

From Wednesday of this week volunteers will be selling raffle tickets at the student entrance to fundraise for the Lourdes Pilgrimage before school. Students and staff can also buy tickets from Ms. O’ Sullivan in room 12.

Our athletes are in the National Indoor Arena today to run in the Secondary Schools Indoor Track Relays, organised by Dublin City Council, Dublin City Sport and Wellbeing Partnership and our Active School Flag class.
The day’s events culminated in the TY relay and our girls put in an excellent performance, coming second. Bravo!
Our U19 badminton competed in the All Ireland championships in Gormanstown, finishing in a very credible second place.
