The Active School Flag team is busy this week, organising an inter-class dance competition. There has been some world class entries already, more to come!

Transition Years Visit Shrewsbury House

Last week, our Transition Year students had the wonderful opportunity to visit Shrewsbury House Nursing Home as part of our Christmas outreach initiative. During their visit, the students worked together to create 35 personalised Care Packs—one for every resident—to help bring some festive cheer to the community this Christmas.
The morning was filled with warmth and laughter as the students sang Christmas carols and later spent time chatting with the residents. Festive treats were also included which made the experience especially meaningful for everyone involved.
We wish to acknowledge the support of Ms. Butler and Mr. Scales, who assisted the students in creating their Care Packs and oversaw the visit. We also offer sincere thanks to Ms. MacAuley and Ms. Cooney for their essential role in planning and facilitating this meaningful and holistic activity.
It was a memorable day of connection, kindness, and community spirit!

Local Sports Partnership visits our Active School Flag team

Jonathan Tormey, Local Sports Partnership representative from Dublin City County Council, visited our Active School Flag team today. They presented findings from their whole school survey and discussed how our partnership can get our pupils more active. Thanks Jonathan!
