Catholic Schools Week 2026

Catholic Schools Week 2026 was a meaningful and uplifting time for our school community. Throughout the week, our students engaged thoughtfully with the theme of holiness in everyday life. A highlight of the week was learning about sainthood and the remarkable life of Saint Carlo Acutis. Through his story, students discovered how faith, service to those in need and modern technology can be used to bring people closer to God.

The week was also marked by a beautiful sense of joy and gratitude. Students from Ms. Butler and Mr. Scales’ RE class groups were eager to spread joy by designing heartfelt thank you cards for their teachers, expressing appreciation for their care, guidance and dedication. It was wonderful to witness such genuine enthusiasm and creativity. A lovely atmosphere of kindness flowed through the hallways of Maryfield!

Catholic Schools Week provided a valuable opportunity for students to reflect the core values of the Sisters of the Cross and Passion, particularly, thankfulness, compassion and faith lived through service to others.
